World Day of Victims of Road Traffic in Argentina
from Global Remembrance to Global Action

As has been done since 2005, the association Luchemos por la Vida joins international activities on this day of remembrance of victims of road traffic, and requires a greater commitment to the responsible authorities to improve road safety in Argentina. We detail below the activities promoted by this association.


Activities

-Press release sent to all printed, radio and television media of Argentina and requirements for publication and disclosure of the World Day and the traffic problems.
-Public statement of support of our Organisation to the world paper on Summary of Proposals of NGOs for a decade of actions for Road Safety to be presented at the upcoming 1st World Conference of Ministers in Moscow.
-Request to the highest religious authorities for prayers to victims of traffic at all masses next Sunday November 15th 
-Support to the meeting of victims at the Obelisk of Buenos Aires, with press conference identified with a painted commemorative star, religious reflections, a minute of silence and the release of balloons.
