Events to be held in Poland for World Day of Remembrance, 16.11. 2008 Organised and promoted by the national organization ‘Road and Safety’ – Droga i Bezpieczenstwo, Poznań, which recently celebrated its 10th anniversary. To mark the World Day of Remembrance: "Road accidents - Let's Talk" A project carried out in schools throughout Poland on the 14th of November – 2 days before the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims. This project reflects the important work of the organization in the field of road danger reduction and the enormous engagement of pupils and teachers in the whole country. Also, a special solemn Holy Mass, devoted to road traffic victims, will be held, among others, on 16.11.2006 at the Zakrzewo church, near Poznan. This service will include the lighting of candles in memory of road crash victims and also a talk about road safety. Reflective elements and related flyers will be given out at the church exit. |
Joint poster for the World Day of Remembrance 2009
This year, member organisations of the European Federation of Road Traffic Victims (FEVR) are sharing a Poster design for the World Remembrance Day, with their own languages for the message.
