A Special Ecumenical Service at St. Bridgit's Cathederal, Kildare Town, 3pm As part of World Day of Remembrance for road crash victims, in addition to the many services taking place around Ireland, Kildare County Council Road Safety Officer has organised a Special Ecumenical Service at St. Bridgit's Cathederal, Kildare Town at 3pm. This day reflects on the people that are injured or killed each year as a result of road tragedies, and we reflect and offer support to the families, friends and colleagues of these victims. Among the Prayer readers at this Special Service will be members of the Emergency Services, An Garda Síochána and County Kildare's Road Safety Officer. Kildare County Council’s Choir Group will also perform at the Service. The Mayor of Kildare, Council Members, Senior Officers from the Gardaí, Ambulance Service, Fire Service and Civil Defence will also attend. Those who have been affected by, or as a result of a road traffic incident are also welcomed to join the service. |
