Events in Uganda, Kampala, for World Day

It is still a great challenge that the world Govts and Ngo's have to adopt the Remembrance day. It’s such an important day. In my country, Uganda, everyone has lost a friend or either close or distant relative due road accident; those few who haven’t, have at least nursed their loved ones who have sustained serious injuries. This is such a huge phenomenon in the world today. We have a slogan we use in my organization - that everyone out there is a PV (Potential victim).

Recognizing and announcing this day is very, very important.
We have prepared a press release that will come out in about four print media and we intend to have radio talk shows on at least two National Fm Radio stations. We have a great number of accident victims in my organization of which am one and we intend to talk about our experiences, lessons learnt and suggest ways forward.
